Automatic data processing on this website

When you visit our website, information that your browser transmits to us is automatically stored in our "server log files". These are

Data collection on our website

Forms and enquiries

In the case of enquiries (e.g. via contact form, e-mail or quotation form), the user's details are forwarded for processing the contact enquiry and its handling. The enquiries are only forwarded for processing and deleted immediately after the customer's request.

Cookies

Collection of access data and log files

We, or our hosting provider, collect on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, we or our hosting provider collect data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. Enquiry by email or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we will store and process your enquiry including all personal data (name, enquiry) for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and / or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us. The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

Third-party services

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (hereinafter: "Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. MyFonts-Counter

This website uses MyFonts-Counter, a web analysis service from MyFonts (Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc., 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801, USA). Due to the licence terms, page view tracking is carried out by counting the number of visits to the website for statistical purposes and transmitting them to MyFonts. MyFonts collects anonymised data.

Google Signals

This website also uses Google Signals. This is an extension function of Google Analytics that enables so-called "cross-device tracking". This means that if your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account, Google can create reports on usage behaviour (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you change your device. Google uses data for this purpose if you have activated the "personalised advertising" setting in your Google account.

Microsoft Ads

We use the Microsoft Advertising service of the provider Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland/EU) (formerly Bing Ads) on our website. Microsoft Advertising is an online marketing service that uses the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tool to help us display targeted adverts via the Microsoft Bing search engine. Microsoft Advertising uses cookies for this purpose. This involves processing personal data in the form of online identifiers (including cookie identifiers), IP addresses, device identifiers and information about device and browser settings. Microsoft Advertising is used for the purpose of optimising the display of advertisements. Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager of Google Ireland Limited (Ireland/EU). Google Tag Manager is used to manage our website tags via an interface. Google Tag Manager is a cookie-free domain that does not collect or store any personal data. Google Tag Manager merely triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data without accessing this data themselves. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level (e.g. via the consent management tool), this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager. Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour. If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to expect any such cookies when watching YouTube videos. Google Maps

Google Ads

Google Conversion Tracking is used when you visit this website. If you reach our website via an advert placed by Google, Google Ads places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an advert placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. We embed Vimeo videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is Vimeo, LLC, headquartered at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011. When you access the web pages of our website with such a plugin - for example our media centre - a connection to the Vimeo servers is established and the plugin is displayed. Polyfill.io

We use the "Polyfill.io" service provided by The Financial Times Limited, Bracken House, 1 Friday Street, London, England, EC4M 9BT. This enables us to display content in high quality even on older browser versions. When you load a website that uses the Polyfill service, your browser downloads all the necessary polyfill files to successfully display the website in your browser.
